Sign in the vets office:

Dogs have Masters

Cats have Staff

Fog continues to grow. He really likes the caps I described in the last post. He hides them in our shoes, and it's a rare occurrence when we don't find one as we're putting our shoes on. He's teething now, as well. He also likes watching us working (or playing) on the computer. He follows the mouse pointer and can't figure out how it can float! He keeps looking for the rest of it! He is actually very careful of his claws. He also likes listening to our grandfather clock chime the hours. He'll come from anywhere in the house and jump up to one of his perches to watch and listen. I guess I should be happy we don't have a cuckoo clock!

Fog's latest toys are caps from soda - the kind that screw off and on. If you have an old gift card - the kind that's about credit card thickness - cut a circle to fit tightly inside the cap. Put a couple of pennies in the cap and push the circle in so the pennies rattle and roll them along the floor. It's best to cut the circle large and then cut away a sliver along an edge until the circle fits and stays. We've had no problem with these coming apart once we have a good fit. We have a few of these and Fog can entertain himself since they often roll away.

We also built him a cat condo and he's up and down that quite often. He also likes sleeping on it when it's naptime.

Our new kitten October, 2010.

One of Fog's favorite toys is a bear that he usually wrestles. It must have worn him out.

You may think this is about weather
If you read the URL
But it's a blog about a cat
When you read on you can tell

He's really very curious
As cats are known to be
And loves to climb and romp and chase
Anything from A to Z
